Learn how to read the Bible with a queer lens! Join Jimmy for an interactive Zoom session designed to introduce learners to how to find LGBTIQ2Q+ perspectives in and around biblical texts. This introductory queer approach moves beyond the "basics" of reading the Bible to argue against queer- and transphobic reading. More than supporting inclusion of trans and queer folks, we will explore interpretations that foster transformation and queer liberation.

This is a hands-on, interactive seminar that guides participants through interpreting texts themselves, using queer strategies. This way, they learn skills they can use to read the Bible on their own. Everyone will leave feeling equipped and excited to apply these skills in their own contexts.
